As a designer, I’m a believer in the fight for social justice and equality. Some of my heroes include Victor Papanek, Buckminster Fuller, Paul Polak, and Don Norman.
They inspire me to help solve some of the world’s wicked problems. I’m also a huge history nerd and consider myself to be equal parts researcher, strategist and global citizen.
Much of my work is influenced by my travels and first-hand experiences exploring different cultures and lifestyles. While it may sound cliche, “think global, act local” is something I take to heart. Being a multidisciplinary designer, as well as a photographer and artist, allows me to take on a wide range of projects and use speculative design to imagine alternatives for our present and future.
On weekends you might find me prototyping new models, reading up on the latest anthropological design methodologies, or researching fringes of the design world in developing countries. I prefer a human-centered approach to design and am eager to connect with like-minded people seeking to positively impact the world.
